‘Nuneaton Moviemakers have just released their latest DVD telling the rich history of aviation in the Coventry region.

The film features information about :

• the earliest flights of local flying pioneer Percy Pilcher, (who could have beaten the Wright Brothers into the air by four years)
• building the iconic Lancaster bombers (of Dam Busters fame)
• the work of Frank Whittle - father of the jet age - and much more.

Midland Moviemakers League

An excellent turnout for last night's  

round of the league hosted by Nuneaton.

Sutton Coldfield was the winning club

with their film 'Riding High' - a film about hot air balloons.
