  • Central & East Midlands Region of the IAC (Film & Video Institute)
  • Supporting around 300 Members & 36 Clubs
  • An elected Regional Council organises events as requested by regional members or affiliated societies
  • A bi-monthly newsletter is produced and sent to each member and society
  • Visitors are welcome to attend all events
 
Encouragement for younger Members
  • CEMRIAC is proud of its regional policy to assist and encourage younger film makers. The main elements are:
  • Special grants available to assist small productions that fail to attract funding under the normal Lottery/Arts Council/Government schemes
  • A Trophy in the CEMRIAC Regional Film Festival for the best Student entry (IAC Junior, Youth or School Member)
  • Closer links with Universities and other Higher Education Establishments in the Midlands
  • An Appraisal service for the work of younger members
